An A+ Secondary Academy graduate Nancy Rodriguez, has been presented with the honor of the 2019 Hispanic Business Salute by the news broadcast Telemundo 39 and NBC 5. While in high school, Nancy attended Eastfield College earning 35 hours of dual credit which allowed her to complete her freshman year of college while still in high school. Nancy is currently attending Richland Community College and playing on the women's soccer team.
Nancy inspires to graduate earning an Associates of Arts with an emphasis in Journalism. During her high school years, Nancy was part of A+ Academy Knightly News Crew in which she filmed events in her school, gather news stories and made many news cast. Nancy is very passionate about putting the spotlight on her community. Her dream is to pursue the competitive field of Sports Journalism and to become the best in her field, so she can meet athletes and share their inspirational stories with the community. After earning her Associates Degree, she plans to transfer to the University of North Texas(UNT) to acquire a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Journalism.
