Dr. Alime Sadikova came to the United States as a Fulbright Scholar to teach and to obtain her graduate education at Texas Tech University in 2006. Prior to starting her academic journey in the U.S., Dr. Sadikova was a founder and a principal of a private K-12 school for five years. She obtained her two undergraduate degrees in Uzbekistan and her two masters and doctorate degrees in Education at Texas Tech University. While at Texas Tech, she taught undergraduate and graduate classes in education as well Russian and Uzbek languages. At Texas Tech, Dr. Sadikova served as a President of Education Graduate Student Organization, National Director of Outreach, she was awarded several grants, presented at national and international conferences and published multiple research articles. Prior to joining A+ Academy, she worked with Lubbock ISD, was a teacher and then a high school assistant principal at Fort Worth ISD. Dr. Sadikova holds teaching certifications in middle and high school English in addition to her principal and superintendent certifications. Dr. Sadikova loves spending time with her family and five German shepherds. During her spare time, she plays soccer for Fort Worth Adult League and watches the San Antonio Spurs and the Dallas Cowboys's games.
